Located in a beautiful rural setting in the heart of South Wales, Sevenoaks fishery offers a peaceful, relaxing days fishing. Just 8 miles from Cardiff city, Sevenoaks offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Isolated but extremely accessible, we offer a perfect day out for everybody.
We offer 3 well stocked lakes to suit people of all ages and abilities. The lakes are all fully wheelchair accessable. Also on site we also have for sale tea, coffee, snacks and soft drinks.
The site comprises three pools , one of which is set aside for beginners to learn the art of fly fishing or if they prefer to do some bait fishing with worm or sweetcorn.
The novice pool is stocked with Rainbows and tiger trout up to about 3lb in weight. These fish are fairly easy to catch, giving the beginner some good fun whilst learning the art of angling.
The main pool is stocked with Rainbows, Browns and Blues, to 20lb plus. It offers a very exciting days fishing.
The coarse lake is stocked with mirror, wild and common carp 20lb +, Bream to 8lb +, Perch to 5lb + along with Tench, Roach and Rudd.

We are located close to a village called Ystradowen, in the beautiful vale of Glamorgan. Whether you are coming from Cardiff, Swansea or the Rhondda, or even further afield, we are easy to find - we are located a few miles from Junction 34 of the M4.
From Swansea/Neath/Bridgend/West Wales head eastbound on the M4 towards Cardiff, leaving the motorway at Junction 34.
From Bristol/Newport/Cardiff head westbound on the M4 towards Swansea, leaving the motorway at junction 34.
Follow sign towards Llantrisant (A4119), at traffic lights go straight on. You will shortly come to a roundabout, take first exit towards Llanharan.
Go straight on at next roundabout. Shortly after, turn left onto A4222 (Cowbridge).
Drive through Pontyclun and Brynsadler, and we are 3/4 of the way down a large hill. We are easy to spot.
