Suffolk Water Park
Suffolk Water Park is a privately owned day ticket fishery, located just a couple of miles north-west of Ipswich, Suffolk. A former quarry works, the fishery has been carefully developed over the past seven years by proprietor Peter Clapperton. The result is a magnificent site, offering some of the very best fishing in the area. We cater for anglers of all abilities, and offer professional teaching for absolute beginners of any age.
We have five lakes available for pleasure fishing. These lakes contain a wide variety of fish including roach, rudd, perch, tench, carp, eels, bream and skimmers.
We have a well-established big fish lake of 25 acres, horseshoe in shape containing a good head of stunning carp - 20's and 30's up to 40lb. The big lake isn't always easy, but provides quality fishing. Each winter also produces many 20lb pike - and up to 30lb a possibility. The big lake also has other quality Tench, Bream and Roach which are rarely fished for.
Our well-established 25 acre big fish lake contains many 20lb pike - with fish up to 30lb a possibility. Depending on water temperature. The pike season runs from October 1st to March 31st. Live bait is permissible but must be purchased from our own bait shop. Lure fishing allowed all year.
We have four specially constructed match lakes; these can be booked for matches and vary in size and capacity giving us 110 pegs in total. All lakes contain young, fast growing fish, mainly Carp, but quality Tench feature in many heavy match weights.
