Even in the 2 hours of torrential rain 7 anglers on Thursday afternoon refused to stop fishing, and were rewarded with fish of double figures with Alan Gardner on Bowes catching 5 x 20lb ers in the storm – with thunder and torrents of water they all were well soaked but happy with their catches.

Pallatrax Jungle does the business for Team Pallatrax member Andy Edwards

Written by Clint Walker. Posted in Catch Reports

Team Pallatrax carp expert Andy Edwards had a real ‘red letter’ session when he visited his favourite Oxfordshire water during atrocious conditions. Despite nothing coming out to other anglers over the previous few days, Andy scaled a tree to spot a group of 15-20 fish feeding over a margin spot. Carefully presenting just a couple of crumbed boilies over his Jungle hookbaits in the margins, Andy retired to the bivvy to await the action. Over the next few hours, Andy netted four carp at 30lbs, 33lbs 8ozs, 32lbs 4ozs and a new pb at 39lbs 14ozs known as the ToeJam Common! During his session, Andy used just 24 Pallatrax Jungle boilies to accomplish astonishing four 30lbs+ carp from a very tough venue; we think it shows just how effective Jungle can be in attracting ‘animals’ to the bank!
