At Pallatrax, we currently have a trio of young anglers tearing up the waters they fish using Pallatrax products; Luca de Michele, Tom Barge and Jack Shurety are sending in numerous reports of their successes, so it’s no surprise they feature in this month’s newsletter!
Luca is first in with his smashing 3lbs 6ozs perch from a local (Daventry) stretch of the Grand Union Canal. Luca float fished a lobworm hookbait dipped in Pallatrax Earthworm Liquid to boost his chances and landed the monster a short time after settling into a new swim. Tom Barge also chipped in with perch to about 1lb too!
Jack’s back in the news too this month; a return visit to Drayton Reservoir saw an astonishing 22 carp including 3 fish in excess of 20lbs hit the bank during a crazy session on Jungle and Crave baits. Not content with landing more than anyone on the venue, Jack bagged a new personal best at 26lbs 2ozs! Jack fished his baits over a mixture of pellets, boilie chop and hemp glugged in the Pallatrax Earthworm Liquid to give it some added attraction from a swim known as the ‘Cone’.
The Pallatrax Facebook competition got under way this month; running until the first of November, the best catch report (not always the biggest fish!) will win a selection of Pallatrax tinned ‘Naturals’. All you have to do is ‘like’ Pallatrax on our Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning!
Also out of the lucky bag, the four lucky winners of the Angler’s Mail/Pallatrax competition should soon be receiving a selection of Pallatrax baits to kick start a winter campaign. The competition drew an additional 250 ‘likes’ to our Facebook pages, so things are getting busy at Pallatrax!
A brand new stockist is now supplying Pallatrax products from a MOBILE shop which visits a number of venues and towns around East Anglia and surrounding areas, so if you can’t get to a Pallatrax stockist, then Carping-On will come to you! Find out more by taking a look at their website www.carping-on.com which also gives telephone details.
New field tester Steve Harrison got amongst the carp on his latest sessions. Pictured with a 24lbs 4ozs mirror taken from Pavyotts Fishery, Steve commented that he has been informed that the venue is thought to be dominated by a particular bait, but during his time there, only 6 fish were caught between 26 anglers, and 2 of them fell to his Pallatrax Jungle baits! Steve has also been doing well on a tough NW venue where boilies often fail; used to catching on prawn or meat baits, Steve was pleased to find that Jungle scored first time out when he landed a fish of 22lbs 14ozs. Dipped in Jungle glug and fished ‘’butterfly’ style, Steve also reported that his new batch of Pallatrax ‘The Hook’ gave fantastic hook holds and he even had to give some to his mate who was also impressed!
